Guys I just finished 2 days of brush hogging. My 4240 was a mess as was the brush hog. I hate putting dirty equipment in the shed as the critters just love to make all kinds of nest with it. It also is a fire hazard. In the past I would have power washed the tractor and brush hog. Then have to wait to for it all to dry.
Today I needed to clean the leaves out of the parking spot in the equipment shed for the brush hog before putting it away with the leaf blower. That’s when I had an aha moment. I just blew of all the crap from the tractor and the hog with it. It worked fantastic. You can blow under the rubber mats on the tractor and would not believe the dirt that flies out while not leaving water trapped under them to start rust. You can blow out the tool box and not leave it in a wet mess. Pop the hood and clear the radiator. The blower works much better then high pressure water.
