THANKS Tommy aka Peanut!! I missed the deleted posts but I think I get the jest of 'em. I am proud to have you as a forum friend and do respect your thoughts on RTV stuff. . Bordercollie

Perhaps I should have left them up so that those who missed them could see that there was absolutely zero "name calling" or anything at all directed toward anyone in my posts. Just so we're clear, Tommy's little fit was due to me "smack talking" and apparently "name calling" about my own machine. Not any forum members whatsoever. Apparently I stepped on his toes by calling my RTV a pos. Which I later found extremely strange when he stated that he didn't even own one.

Yet he's the guy to ask about them... somehow. And I'm sure he can steer you in the right direction, which is always to leave it just as it came from Kubota because it's perfect. Well, except for the fact that Kubota themselves made a series of design changes to the machines themselves, such as installing the very springs that we were discussing as standard equipment on the 1100, redesigning the shift fork that has left my machine stuck in Reverse before, adding the steering stops mine never came with, updating the floppy driveshaft that I have long since stopped worrying about, updating the rear u-joints, adding power, making them easier to shift...... so on and so forth.

Yet.....

If you ask Tommy, in so many words he'll basically tell you you're dumb if you ever change it from the way it came from Kubota.... usually mentioning something about how it's not made for that, something or other. Well I guess Kubota didn't get the memo Tommy. Cause they're damn sure hard at work fixing all the things I have mentioned being a problem with it. Maybe you should give them a call and explain how the machine is perfect and that they should leave it alone.
