I finally got to feeling better over the weekend ansd was able to install the new Hydrolic bed lift from UTV Hitchworks.http://utvhitchworks.com/product/rtv-900-bed-lift/
Installation was straight forward for me and although it took longer than expected due to frozen ports to run the hosed (they were packed with mud,ice and snow it still went very well. The pump installs very easily on the main frame under the hood. The hoses are more than long enough to run to the back cylynder and the cylynder was very easy to install.I with I would have purchased this years ago but reading so many articles and reviews im always afaraid of who is full of BS and who isnt.Let me just say the People there (Dale) was very nice to deal with and answered all e mails and questions through the purchase. After installation I added 1 quart of ATF to the pump ran it up and down a few times then added a bit more ATF to top it off.It has great speed for raising and lowering the bed.Not to fast as to be used as a catapolt which was nice.As a Test I emptyed the back of the bed of the tool box and loaded it with a full load of cunderblocks and fire wood which Im guessing about 1500 pounds of materials maybe more as the machine squatted low in the back.I hit the switch and it dumped the load with no hesitations at all.For anyone who dosnt have the hydrolycs on their RTV from the factory I strongly recommend this accessory.Installation is stupid simple and works great.Anyone who knows me and knowing I have MS knows if I can do it any one can and it isnt very often that I give a product a good rating without griping about something. For this it will be my first time ever lol.I rate this product for ease of installation and how well it works as A+ yes thats an A+ wow I said it finally lol.
Later this week after the winter blast is done ill take images of how it went on and how its all hooked up to show you.
I definatly recommend this product and will do a lot more business with UTV Hitchworks in the future.
Have a great day and may all of your projects go well.
