My 2015 Mahindra 1533 Shuttle has low oil pressure.

I first had this problem a year ago at 500 hours. It was due to low oil. The reason I had low oil is, I had a User Manual I downloaded from online that was for a previous (by only a few months) version of the 1533 that had a 3 cylinder engine that required about half to 2/3ds of the correct quantity of oil. Boy was I mad! Same model, same year, different engine. Sometime during 2015, Mahindra switched to a 4 cylinder engine that takes 7+ Qts. I solved the problem by changing the oil and filter and replacing the oil pressure sensor.
One year and 150 hours later and I'm getting low oil pressure again. I just changed the oil and filter about 20 hours ago. When the light came on, I waited overnight and checked the oil on level ground. Perfectly full and clean. I checked for leaks. None. l checked for smoke. None. I checked the tail pipe itself. Small amount of dry carbon residue.
I think there are only four possible causes
1. the oil pressure sensor is bad (China).
2. The oil pump is clogged or faulty.
3. The engine bearings are worn. (Man! I hope not. Even with low oil, there's only 650 hours on the engine. That seems unlikely. I hope.)
4. There is debris in an oil passage somewhere.
Here's are my questions:
Any opinions out there on which of these causes is most likely? Any troubleshooting tips?
What's the best way to clean debris from the oil passages?
Are there other causes I haven't thought of or ruled out?

Guessing the oil pressure sensor would be the cheapest to buy and check to see if you truly have an issue.
With hours that low I'd sure hope that is all you need. Good luck.

This is embarrassing, but I'm posting it anyway. Turns out I didn't have an oil pressure problem. In fact, after adding an actual oil pressure gauge to my dashboard, I discovered that I was looking at the wrong trouble light. I'm getting old so I don't see as well as I used to. I was looking at the Engine System Failure light. My feeble brain translated the exclamation point into a drop of oil. Neat, huh?
Anyway, at least I have an oil pressure gauge now which is much better than an idiot light. However; now I'm unsuccessfully trying to find out how to retrieve DTC codes from the ECU without having to drag my tractor 30 miles to the nearest dealer. There has to be a way to push buttons on the dash board and get the codes. The user manual I have only offers the dreaded phrase: "See your dealer."
At this point, the light is not coming on anymore so the code may have cleared itself, but I would really like to know if there's a code stored in there that would tell me what caused it to light up. I found the codes and their meanings online, but can't get the codes.
I'm hoping one of you wizards will tell me what DTC code reader I can buy that is compatible with the 2016 Mahindra 1533 Shuttle or some button pushing, key turning sequence that will show them on the dash. Thanks!

Grab a copy of this while it's still out there. With 361 pages of diagnostics, it may have what you need.

Here's a couple lists of Mahindra codes

Do you have an automotive OBD reader? It may work to get the codes but don't know if you'll be able to do anything with them.

Wow bczoom, That was very helpful. I downloaded the manual and checked out the trouble code troubleshooter. Excellent references. Thank you!!
Now, I'll finish my tale:
I tried my old automotive code reader which blue tooths to my phone. It works!
Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) the code has cleared itself. Either that or my reader is not picking it up though I don't see how that can be since it's doing everything else right. Reader says there are no codes and the trouble light is not on, so I'm going to trust it.
My tractor is all back together, new oil, new hydraulic fluid, newly greased and finally ready for the mowing season.
In the past, twice now, the trouble light came on after several hours of mowing. If or when it comes on again, I'll be ready with my code reader to find out what is making it light up. I would be totally fine with it not coming on at all. So when it comes on and I find out what the code is and what's causing it, I'll add a footnote to this thread if it is still available.
Good suggestions from all of you. Thanks for all the help.
