messicks how much would you charge me for a not so damaged rtv bed ? reason is i need one for the bed rail attachments i wanna make. i got bad news from attorney and rtv is kinda out of the picture for a ways now so i gotta figure something out and i wanna keep you guys uptodate with whatever you need as for as parts go. i have been wanting to do some wild stuff with the bed rails but i reallyneeded a rtv but it seems my hopes are just slippin away . the dealer down here ifs a complete you know what and won't even let me pull out my tape measure to measure anything unless i buy the rtv and trust me if i had the money i would have an rtv1100 but things just didn't work out that way. i would have liked to get the front and rear bumpers done with the full under bodybut it seems everytime i take a step ahead something pulls me back. i was hopein to work out something with a dealer that way just that one dealer gets the stuff and him only but i don't know that many dealers and i don't have an rtv to be doinfg a deal like that . they might call and say i need this made for this and i wouldn't be able to make it for them . i would rather have an rtv that way if the dealer wouldcall and say i have a customer who wants this i can say ok i can have it for this day. sorta like the delar havin his personal custome fab shop to make any custome part for his rtv customers when they needed it. i am in the process of makin a press for makin aluminum tops so i can bend bigger pieces of metal or alumiunm up to 5' wide so i will be able to make tops with speaker or whatever you wnat in them.

I can make you up a blueprint of the bed with dimensions and stake pocket locations. Just weld up a frame the same size and add the stake tubes and you will be good to go. I designed quite a few welding and machining fixtures in older times for tanks and amphibious vehicles. Give me a little time to get the wifes bushes unloaded and planted and I will draw one up.

Folks have heard about that dealer down there byTommy. He should be put on the GM / Chrysler listof dealers shut down. He will not letTommy even measure things on the RTV's on the lot.Personally don't see a problem with a man just taken a few measurements.

Tommy, one weekend, you and the Mrs.,jump on theinternet and find some other dealers kinda close to you, take the digital camera, pencil and paper and make notes. Justbecause the dealer closer to you is the way he is, don't mean others are that way. You and the wife will enjoy the ride, and I bet, the dealers even let you take them for a nice ride. Please don't judge all dealers like the one down the road from your home Tommy..... There is somebody down there that will let you put your fingerprints all over a RTV if you wish .... This is just my opinion my friend >>>>

Yea, That guy must have a bad personal life to be such a butt. Just be glad you aren't that way . Bordercollie

from drivin around the closest other dealer is in new orleans and thats over an hour drive each way. now i did get some encouraging news yesterday when i stopped by a friends house and his daughter said her father-n-law that lives in baton rouge bought a orange thing that lookedsorta like my rhino and need some stutt built for it like a roof and bumper so i gave her this web sight to go to for a reference and told her to see if he wouldn't mind bringin it down. i would guess it's a bota i don't know of any otherorange utv's as for as the local dealer goes well one day one of his cuctomers will run across my parts and go into his dealership and ask about them and he won't be able to give them any answers other then WELL!!! kinda makes me wonder if i bought a bota from another dealer and tried to bring it to this guy for warranty work??? he would probably not want to touch it because he didn't sell it to me .

i'm gonna check into the renting thing that might not be a bad idea .if i can find a place that rents them around here it might just work out i could get alot done over a weekend.
