New baby to occupy my time.

muleman RIP

Gone But Not Forgotten
Picked up a 12 week old pup today. She is "supposed" to be the wife's but already she wants to follow me and is laying under my feet as I type this. I keep telling my wife to keep her away from me but you know how that goes.she is adapting to all the noise and comotion in our house. The macaws scare her more than the cats and dogs do. I figure I will break her in to the RTV later this week.

Now, that's a great picture !!!

NIce looking friend you have, and yes, Iknow how thewifey's dog thing goes also..... She will make you a great co-pilot with the RTV ~~~~ Beautiful animal,I swear !!!

What isher name ???? May I suggest, get hermicro-chipped when you get a chance .... It paid off for aclosefriend down here the other day. It wassomething to see him and his partner get back together >>> I knew how close they were, it would bring tears to the eyes if you would of seen them getting back .....

That's wonderful Muleman!!! I think she may favor you even. She knows a good thing when she has it . I'd say by the picture that you are quite pleased as well. Let us know all about her as she befriends the macaws and picks out her place on the RTV. Bordercollie

Congratulations!!!

As mentioned by others, she's beautiful. Is she straight GSD or a mix?

We too got a new dog back in March. The thoughts were that she would be the kids dog, but like you, she hangs out with me and comes to me first when we come home.

As Jamie mentioned, getting her chipped is a good idea. After hearing about several other dogs that got home due to the chips, we put one in as well. Pepper (our dog) has a tendency of breaking collars (mainly the D-rings) and loosing tags. Even if she does, I don't worry anymore.

thats a perty pup you got there and she's the same age as my pup i just got i bought me home a akc black lab a week ago he's just made 13 weeks old but if he keeps chewing on my shoes he just might not make it to 14 weeks..lol

Brian: Yes she is an AKC registered gsd. Her dad goes 128 lbs. and mom is a little over 80. She is on her way to being a good size already. 28 lbs; this morning. She went along to the bank and got her first taste of soft ice cream today. Tommorow i have to go to hospital for my monthly tests so I will pick up some Seltzers sweet lebanon bologna to start spoiling her properly! Aint a dog around that turns down good bologna. She is under my feet so much I had to put her in the extra kennel to run the little tiller in the garden today.
