This is my lastest project a welding table that I build from scrap

Big Dog, I did build a 16 foot tandem axle trailer for a cooker but that project has been on the back burner for a while, I am thinking of building a trackless train car out of it and pull it with my jd 670

Nice table. Looks extra sturdy.
I want to see the trackless train car if you go through with that idea.

Any plans to make a bracket/shelf to put your welder on, to make for a fully portable welding area?

I'm guessing from your username that thats a JD 317 in the background of the pictures 2 posts up?

the table top is 4 X 5 feet
I do have a small generator welder that would work after I fix it

That is not a JD 317 its around back of the shop I am restoring it, Its a JD 155 lawn tractor that I bought to cut grass until I get the belly mower of the 670 fixed. Its small but I paid $275 for it. Cant wait to get the 60 inch belly mower repaired, it will cut quicker than the 38 inch on the lawn tractor.

I added a removable vise. Just started my first welding project on the table. Its receiver hitch that will work with my hf quick hitch or on the 3 point.

That looks like a good solid table, what type of welder do you have ? I can see it in the background but it's hard to tell.

Its a ESAB 260 mig / tig / stick. I worked for them for 33 years
