Well, we all spend money different ways for our hobbies and toys.
Race cars, RC Airplanes & Helicopters, Real Airplanes, Para-gliders,
Bass Boats, Speed Boats, the list of toys and hobbies goes on and on.

Down here, we have mud races, monster truck races, mud boggs, air-boat
races and four-wheeler mud races. And lets don't forget the Cajun Cookouts
that gets thrown EVERYWEEK somewhere. It's just what people do.

If he only spends $11,000 on his toy to play in the mud. He is WAY ahead of the game. That is very cheap what some spend on toys.
We have all seen $100,000-450,000 motor homes for travel and camping, $70,000 bass boats, $65,000 trucks to pull the boats.
RC Airplances and Helicopters, (done that too, spent thousands of $$$, I done the helicopter thingy) .... etc .... etc .....

It's all a where you live, and the things of life that makes you happy.
Yes, I can see where many have a tuff time spending money to play in the
mud. But you should see the happiness in their eyes when they are doing
it ....... That sight would blow you away.

Don't disagree one bit, I got plenty of toys and spend big money on them. And you are correct, this is something I don't do, but if that is what you love, no issues. My problem is I have too many interests - and none cheap. Great pictures!

Can am makes a good machine. They are fast and durable and great suspension

Well, it's just about a done deal.
He ordered yesterday, with a security deposit which will be taken off total when it comes in next week. They didn't have his model in stock.
Myself, it would have to be a Honda !!!! Have owned just about every Honda ATV they have put on the market. NEVER have had one in the
shop. And nobody has put 'em threw as much mud and working conditions as we have on the deer management in the swamps and farm
work. Honda is a forever machine.
Matter of fact. IF Honda would have had a side-by-side on the market when I was looking for a utility vehicle. I would have never found the Kubota.
During my seach, I was told Honda did not have one out yet. And many folks got to pointing me toward the Kubtoa RTV . Glad they did .
But in a ATV four-wheeler. Gotta be Honda for me !!!!

One mean looking machine ....what is that thing on the front?

If your talking about that thing on the "hood". That is the factory re-located
radiator. To keep out of water and mud. Also, it's factory snorkled. Right in front of the handlebars, is where the air induction is located. Everything "tricked out" is from the factory. It's has heavy duty everything on this toy.

This machine is made for extreame water / mud playing. They said they are tuff, going machines.

We will see !!!!

Hey, I see you have a young'in with you. Went through those days myself trying to carry them on the ATV's.

Here's something I used that works GREAT!

Get a 2" luggage strap. They're sold most anywhere and a good one costs about $5-10.

Strap it around the kids chest and around your mid-section and snug it up. Once you set the size once, you're good for months. I like to have the clip on the left side, just between our bodies. That keeps it easily accessible to me, doesn't cut into the kid and they can't tamper with it.

You no longer need to hold the kid with your left hand. They're secured in there nicely. You can actually stand up and the kid will stay with you.

Wow that's a good idea! She is the last of three kids to take rides, the oldest two have their own toys to ride now but the littlest absolutely loves the quad and my tractors! When we went to test drive the RTV last week she thought she was in heaven being around all those tractors and other toys!

Assuming the new RTV's have the same abrupt stop as the old ones, make sure you have the kids buckle up so they don't smash into the dash.

Do the new RTV's have 3 seat belts or 2? Mine only came with 2. I got a seat belt out of the rear middle seat of a Toyota Corolla and installed it as the center belt on mine.

Haven't crawled in a new one but if the bolts that secure the middle

When I first got my RTV, my kids were about 2 & 5. It was so nice to be able to take both at once finally (as I won't go 3-up on an ATV).

I had 4 adult ATV's and a 2-seater go-cart at the time I got my RTV. Because of the kids, unless I was doing chores by myself, those ATV's just sat there. Ended up selling all but one and they've since been replaced by kids quads. (2) 50-cc, (2) 80-cc and a 160-cc (All Suzuki's).

Then the kids grow so fast that most of those kid ATV's are gone. I kept an 80 and a 160 but the only time the kids go down to that size is when they're riding with other kids.

The new 1100 only had two belt but I didn't think the "engine braking" was bad at all. From the research I've done I was worried about that but I let off the throttle at I'd say at least 10mph and it slowed but not so abruptly that I felt she was going to fly off the seat! Still I had her held in place with my arm just in case it would have been a sudden stop.
