To ALL especially Dougster:
Although the major weather services are forecasting a warm January and February, Mother Nature is sending different signals. I have been a bird watcher for many years (since the pterodactyls) and recently I have seen some birds that are very uncommon around thses parts- Pine Grosbeaks. They normally reside in the northern ranges of Canada. Maybe they have migrated south due to what they are experiencing up in Canada. Hopefully that weather will come this way
Now I am on the look out for snow buntings and snowy owls (I have seen them around here on rare ocassions.).
Sunday into Monday- snow to sleet to freezing rain in western NE; same for Tuesday into Wednesday. It will be wetter in eastern NE
