Post Warranty Engine Oil

I have used Kubota engine oil since my RTV was new. It is well out of warranty now and a friend who has several diesel tractors (Green, Orange, Red and Blue) suggested I switch to Rotella T4. Just interested in your experience, especially if you have a lot of hours on yours.

For me longevity is the most important thing.

For transmission and hydraulic fluid, I think I will stick with the SuperUDT for now.
 
Since your engine doesn't use def use an appropriate engine oil in the temperature range indicated in the book. Rotella is fine just make sure you use the additive package called for and not the package for emissions engines. The hast seems to prefer the oem oil for best performance and long-term service.
 
I bet 90-95+% of the time that something other than the engine fails 1st, HTS, trans, differentials, except over heating and that's not oil related 99+ % of the time!

BTW, stick with the SuperUDT
