Hello, Has anyone tried to step up the hydrostatic pressure? Seems I have enough engine, but too many times I had to shift to low (from mid range) to get going unloaded. Thanks

There is some adjustments, THAT SHOULD ONLY BE MADE FROM A
TRUE, BONIFIDE, KUBOTA MECHANIC. Not just one that calls himself one.
For there are many that do and are NOT that .

OK, From what I understand. There is some adjustments. What they are exactly, I don't know, BUT, there are some certain things that has to be just right for one to get the FULL amount of power.

We have a mechanic in Vicksburg, that took a look at mine, not that I was having any problems. He was at a friends place, checking hydro pressure on his. While he was there, he was kind enough to check mine out to make sure it was right. So I ran to my place, loaded up my RTV and brought it to him. He done some minor adustments and it give my 900 some more power altogether.

Again, I would ONLY advise to make sure you have a person that knows
what in the heck his is doing before he touches the adjustments and starts opening up the pressure valves ...........

Mr. Guns,

Yea, your right. I do a lot of hydraulic repair (jack of all, master of none) and I thought it would be easy if I could get some direction.

Thanks for setting me straight.

I was reading more today about adding turbo to a 900 or 1100. ...all it takes is money. :yum: I saw the turbo listed at 2500.

You might try finding out what size turbo fits the rtv an try searching s few scrap yards. They hsve been putting some turbos on them double drum units we buils sn they look to be good cross matchs for a turbo for the rtv..just look around before youdrop almost 3k at the bota dealer
