May have stated this before. Forgive me on this.
BUT >>>>>
I have been told all my life, and varified it threw research.
That the "ANTI-FREEZE" in a coolant don't go bad.
IT'S THE RUST / CORROSION INHIBITOR.
This is what destroys 99% of radiators. The corrosion from different elements.
These engines can produce electrolysis, This causes corrosion. This can become a deep subject. But we are not going into the chemistry & physics of this.
And there are many other things that causes coolant failure.
Adding this conditioner ( Baldwin) to our cooling systems in all of our equipment for many, many years. Our equipment has ABSOLUTLY NO PROBLEMS with the cooling systems.
NONE !!!!! We don't have water pump problems, no radiator problems. Can not remember when we ever had a thermostat problem.
Look down the throat of our radiators, even the very old pieces of equipment. Inside looks like the day it came from the factory.....
Engines run cooler, with a conditioner, on these hot, humid days in the south.
We give all the credit to the conditioners that we use.
