I've seen several questions about this, and decided to try it. Thought I'd post my experience for anyone interested. I have a '24 RTV X1140 and will be using it some up around Wolf Pen Gap. I wanted as much clearance as I could get for the trails. I ordered 30" Sedona Ridgesaws mounted on 14" rims from KJPowersports. The tires are almost exactly 30" before mounting.
First thing I did was add the Demon Powersports 2" lift kit. It was really straight forward. Then put on the tires and rims.
I had to adjust the steering bump stops a bit up front. In the rear, in extreme of camber situations, the tire did hit one bolt holding the front of the fender on. I replaced the bolt with one of the two part plastic plugs like Honda used to keep the plastics on their ATV'S, and it seems to have solved the problem.
It raised the clearance to 14 3/4" up front and 14" in the rear. While mounted, the tire height has settled to 29 1/2".
I am happy with the way it turned out, but I'm retrospect, I think the 28" tires are the best size. I'm about to go put it on the road and clock the speed and see what it says. I'll let you know the results.
