Well boys, I did it. I bought a Kioti. Yeah, yeah, I can already hear the “told you so’s.” The discount tractor siren song was just too strong to resist. To be fair, I’d read all the glowing reviews on the RX7340—tough, reliable, comfy, even good-looking for a hunk of orange iron.
What I conveniently ignored was the fine print: 0 parts availability, 0 service capability, and 0 customer care.
Fast-forward: 51 hours on my 2024 RX7340 with the KL7340 loader. Other than the high-pitch cab whine in 3rd gear (which Kioti assures me is “normal”—guess tinnitus is a feature), things were fine… until I snapped a grease fitting on the top loader arm. No problem, right? Just grab a replacement.
Plot twist: it’s not SAE, it’s not metric—it’s supposedly BSPT. The fun part? Not a single dealer, nor corporate Kioti, can tell me the actual size. Their advice: “Just stuff grease in the hole and move on.” Great if you don’t care about your equipment. Me? I do.
So here’s my review: Tractor itself—good. Price—tempting. Ownership experience—complete ball bag.
And if any of you fine gents can tell me the size of this mystery grease fitting, you’ll officially become my hero.
