Yesterday, while out working in another 500SF of "survival food plot" with my new to me 83 Troybilt Horse tiller I noticed what must have been 10 HUGE flocks of geese, way high heading north. In addition, maybe 5 or 6 groups of 10 or so birds circling to form up into a flock to head north........Was fun to watch while taking a break on the log.........
Dafodils, which are usually blooming by Valentines are barely up out of the ground with very small flower buds........Maples are just small buds on the twigs, the oak and hickory are still just bare twigs with no buds, and blue birds have not started acting territorial.........SO.....seeing those geese doing their thing was a really great thing to see and to KNOW that this grey, cold, dismal winter is finally coming to an end soon.......
It's God's plan not mine............I just follow His path.......Dennis
