Strange Instrument Cluster Problem RTV1100

Machine is a 2012 RTV1100

Was messing around trying to get the taillights working.

Not sure what happened, but now the instrument cluster lights do not work, when the key is turned to run the speedometer sweeps to full speed and then back to 0mph, and the speedometer does not work when the machine is moving.

Any ideas? This is driving me crazy and I really don't want to buy a $750 instrument cluster!

Fiddled around pulling fuses and relays.....now the instrument cluster lights work, but the speedometer still does not. When I first got the machine the speedometer was inop, but suddenly it started working.....any suggestions?

Sounds like a loose connection. A drive over a bumpy road might help ya. Finding a loose intermittent connection can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Good luck.

Wondering if it might be a grounding issue.....after looking at the wiring diagram, does anyone know where Ground #1 attaches?
