Doc,
They both have 350s . The elc. has a 4 speed and the Vette has an auto. The Chevelle has a 396 and over 400 hp. it realy hauls the mail. I take it for a walk 4 or 5 times a year.
I still owe you pics of it. I'm still tring to make sure I get back to all the guy's that took the time to send me ideas.
I'm still tring to get this tractor going. Tomorrow I will pull the plugs and see if I can turn it over by hand to see if maybe the starter is locked up.

Is that a 68 Chevelle. The first year for that body style. Loved those cars. That 396 is wicked. What a motor.

I've always like the Chevelle, even tho I've never owned one. My older sister had one in the late '70's, & it was fast!
 
NO Doc it is a 67. I have a crane cam that says no recomended for street ,a muncie rock crusher and a positrac. The first time I drove it I was pulling out of a gas station and there was a trickle of water runnig down the curb and I did a 360. Scared the c out of me. I wasn't even getting on it.
 
I wanted one when they first came out but could not affordone. IN 1964 I needed a new car and the prices were to high. My dad said buy a truck. So I bought a new GMC for $1975.00.That much might buy you a set of tire today.
