Undercover

Down here, the RTV stays put in ashed or barn, ........ oh yes, it's covered up, not climate control, but itreally don't get cold down here. I feel, if youtake care of your equipment, it will take care of you !!!

Born Free and living wild.Mine is out in the elements since the new wore off. If I have the time , I will take it to the barn if a bad storm is coming. Otherwise , I keep the Hoss near and handy as I will surely need it every morning. The Corvette and old Galaxie gets first shot at the garage. Then comes the everyday cars, therefore the RTV is just out of luck. Bordercollie

Outta sight and outta someone else's mind. My Tonka toy stays locked in the barn at home and locked in a storage container if left at the hunting lease. Captain

Guys, mine is also kept under cover. Except tonight it is on the trailer headed for sick bay in the morning. Its going in for a check up just to make sure that there is no axle spline to wheel hub stripping. Remember the trouble Tom Towne had with the one that his grooming club had purchased. I will let all know what I find out. My tracks are off and will be until November.

Deerlope, I will be interested in what you find out. Does Tom Towne have a 900 or an 1100? And what kind of trouble did he have with it?

Ya guys do know that they sell a cover for $75 right? Would not want that pretty orange paint to fade.

Doug,

Tom has/had an 1100 and it had Mattracks on it. The spline on the rear axles and the hub spline stripped. Kubota said that they would go good for the repairs but only a one time deal because of the track mod. He could feel is slipping when driving it. I am not having any problems like that. I my book an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I just want to get it checked out.

The RTV pass its physical with flying colors. There is no wear on the axle splines or where they enter the hubs. WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!!!! We are good to wromp and stomp as we please.

I did get to see the 1100's throttle, it can be set at any rpm by just pulling it. Whereas the 900's can either be pulled or by turning the knob. I think it is what is called a Vernier throttle.

Very happy your machine's visit went great .... Thanks for lookin' into the throttle cable thing. Maybe I'll run across mine before long, if not, I'll have to go get another throttle cable kit. Just hate that I misplace the item.>>>>>>>>>

Was thinking if if can be installed where either the foot control OR the hand throttle can be used, decision of the operator .....

You had better get use to misplacing things because as you get older it gets worse. Ha ha beleive I know.

Wonder sometimes that I'm loosing my mind. I don't know what the problem is. Just in the last 30 days or so, I've misplaced a Therma-cell mosquito unit, brand damn new Boker knife,( found knife , don't even want togo there ), two boxes of.204Ruger cartridges at different times. Camo hat, and let someone barrow some of mycoon traps, and cannot remember who in the hell got them, they will return them sooner or later, but heck, I justcannot remember lately. I get so much going on at one time, that don't even knowwhat way I suppose tohead to next . Wifesays to slow down, or I'm going to drive myself crazy. It's so damn hot down here now, people are passing smooth out from the heat. Misplacing things is not normal for me, really !!!!
