Underpowered 3 point

Have an HD 2680 that the 3 point won't lift a 1500 lb bale. Why? Front end loader also seems underpowered as it won't lift the same bale unless the bypass is shut off to the 3 point. Any thoughts on what is the problem. Location is Eastern Oregon

Big difference between the two. Ours is the 97 HP. How can there be such a big difference between the information.

I suspect it is the year in question. I did not add the HD.
This was for a 1980's version of the 2680.
