On a 2015 X1100c.
Passenger side has mounting point for something but nothing is there.

It looks like that would be good for a gps or some sort of guidance system screen to clamp on. ( like in spraying fields etc.)

hmm , Does appear to no longer have a purpose...
Maybe the windshield rattled and thats the solution previous owner came up with , Take it off .

Least we know it Certainly wasnt for a Radar Detector.. huh. ;)

There is an identical mount point on the passenger side (no hardware just the threads welded to the side for a bolt to go into.. I wonder what the intended use of the mount points are.

I though they had a Tilt out window option for air flow.
I read somewhere was on the older model.
But could still be installed on that model . ? Mine has that same bolt hole on each side.

My guess is they supplied it as an accessory mounting point just so people use them instead of drilling or otherwise messing with the ROPS itself.
Don't know on the RTV but I'm pretty sure tractor dealers can't take in on trade for resale any tractor that had the ROPS modified or drilled into.

Watch this video , Special attention at 1:58
{Strut mount for tilt out window }
Well that makes a lot more sense than what was on the other machine. I like the dashboard in that Kubota better than a new ones, everything is right in front of you.
