Where to Buy Worksite Tires?

It's getting close to being time to get some new tires. Yes, for me, I want worksite tires or the stock ones. Hilly woods, asphalt, gravel road, lawn, slippery grass hilly pastures are all pretty much handled by these tires. What I like is they DO NOT tear up the soil like I KNOW the lugged all terrain type tires do.........Am really sensitive about tearing up the soil and starting erosion as I go in and out of my forest to clean it up after the tornados over the last couple of years.

So, anybody wanting to sell their slightly used ones because they went with the mudders???.........Where is the best deal on replacement worksite?????.......

Thanks.......God bless......Dennis

Carlisle makes a tire that is pretty much identical to the worksite tires. The down side is that they are 4 ply instead of 6 ply like the worksites. But they are quite a bit cheaper.

Dennis, if I still had mine, they would be yours but I put them on the '05 when I sold it. Two Guns has a good place and I bet he will post before long. Here is another place to consider: http://www.sidebysidestuff.com/kubota-rtv/tires The ones with the thinner sidewalls may not have the support you like. I remember having to "over pressurize" one set I had because they looked like pancakes with the recommended air pressure of 7 psi. I put 20 in them. I've never bought from them but it has an assortment to look at. Good Luck, bordercollie

Try allterrainonline.com

You will need a six (or better) ply tires for that machine.

Let me do some research, we will find you something !!!!

Thanks for the thoughts guys.......GOLLLLLY.......sticker shock here. The other day I put Michelins on the Honda Pilot for in the $120 each range. Last summer on the Airstream all 4 tires with Carlisles best for about the same each and NOW......golly for these little bitty go cart tires, A JOKE, I have to pay the same??????..........

It's tractor rear tire time soon also as the weather cracking is becoming extreme.......Afraid to even look at those for $$$$$$$$$$$.........

Anyway......thanks for the help......Yes, I think the 6 ply is called for as we carry a LOT of firewood, feed, fertilizer, and rock and perhaps that is the reason for NOT having any flats yet?????................God bless.......Dennis

You can also check with your dealer. Do it through the sales dept, not parts. They can get them as "wholegoods" and the price is better.

what size rims do you have/ i have some tires i took off my rhino they are in pretty good shape but they are for 12" rims if they will fit your rtv let me know cover the shipping and you can have them.

Thanks for all the leads guys.............Right now have OTR 350 Mag Off Road, 25-10.00-12 in a 6 play. Again I really like these for my terrain and what I haul. With your help am finding them at around the $120 range which is WAYYYYYYY high for me.......

Am gonna call the Essex outfit tomorrow to see what they have. They show a 6 ply with the tread I like but no price........I do think I need the 6 ply for the loads I carry and have had good luck with no flats going through my type of woods here.........

So.......am still workin on it as I tend to getting the garden ready, dodging storms, and cleaning up trees from the tornados last year.....I bet there is 5000 cords of wood layin on the ground going to rot within 10 miles of me still...God bless..........Dennis

$120 each ain't bad. We have 2 RTV's that we run on pavement 24/7, so we need tires fairly often. There was an e-bay seller in TN that sold the 350 Mag for $110 w/free shipping, but he doesn't have them anymore. I just paid $127 w/free shipping from atvtire.com.
They're impossible to find locally, and all terrain or turf tires don't cut it for our use.

I haven't bought tires yet, but I found Silverstone tire & wheel selling them for $95 ea. http://silverstonetireandwheel.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_20_51&products_id=30

1pump, what do you do with your RTVs?

I have 4 that are 100% on pavement, pulling passenger tram trailers around a 600-acre school campus. We got them very reently and have 400-500 hours on them now. We got the glass windshield, roof, soft doors & brush guard, so the dealer installed HD front springs. I need to change back to standard springs, because the tires are wearing on the outsides.

Anyway, I'm changing to car tires when the HDWS wear out. There's a small airport nearby that did the same thing. I'm close to making a purchase, so I'll post soon detailing what I did and how it works.

see ya

Kevin, I have a friend who works for a major movie studio. They run older JD Gators on hot pavement all day long and they changed to auto tires, too.

What ever you replacement tire is, make sure it's a quality tire.

You would hate to buy tires and it turns out to be something that you don't need, and that is another headach of life .....

Don't go cheap !!! Buy a tire from a company that has a backbone to it ....

Your Kubota was not cheap, look what you have got. A quality machine !!!!

Cheap is what it is, CHEAP !!!!

Would you buy a cheap parachute at a discount store and jump ?????? Something to think about ....
