Being the engine can breathe better, the performance is better, you can tell from the first ride after installation. Kubota placement on the air filter is not good at all. The high rise intake kit will keep the exspensive filters cleaner, that is a fact. The placement of the filters from the factory, will clog up quickly with dirt/mud/debris that surely don't need to get to engine. Something like in the area of 9-13 hours on mine, just checking the filter, and like to have passed out looking what done filled my filter up. Instantly, purchased the high rise, and been rolling great ever since. My filter on the high rise, is as clean as it was the day I installed it ........
has anyone ever tried to go to a salvage yard to see if the turbo off a import car wil fit ? i know when i installed an extra alternator on my hpx johndeere wanted almost 300 buck but i found a alternator off a toyota for 35.00 and it it right in there. alot of them small cars have alot of stuff that will work on utv's and you can buy them for nearlt nuthing. maybe an old broken tractor or something.if it'sanything like the trucks it will build more boost with a slighlty larger turbo. plus another thing is with a turbo it's best to dellete the muffler and runa stright pipe it helps cool down the egt's and will let the turbu do it's best job. i'm fixin to cut the muffler off my cummins and run striaght pipe . the more free flow that turbo has the better it works. with the turbo installed you will probably notice your temp go up a bit thats because of the muffler it's restriclting the airflow comming out. you can probably find a small resonator to drop in there to take the place of the muffler to help out on the noise.
