I've had plexiglass (or Lexan) and I've had Kubota's glass windshield (made by Curtiss Industries). My suggestion: go with the glass windshield. It would take too long to list the problems of plexiglass ... scratching, scarring, blurring, etc. If you try real hard, you can bust the glass ... but you have to try real hard, such as by making a sharp turn in pine saplings, with a sapling getting bent back by the bumper as the RTV rolls toward it, then snapping back like a spring and hammering the lower left edge of the windshield, which was in the pushed-out position. It was my own stupidity. I'll stick with glass.
