WTB......Tailgate for RTV900

My son dented the top of my tailgate last year and I tried to straighten it out. It looks OK but I'm just too picky and it bothers me every time I look at it.

If anyone has a tailgate they could part with at a decent price please let me know. I haven't called the dealer mainly because I don't want to get price shocked. Biltmore1 at bellsouth dot net.

Fred, Here is a site from Messick's that appears to have a parts list for everthing that Kubota makes! http://www.messicks.com/KubotaModelList.aspx Example- Scroll down to RTV Utility Vehicles and click on your model . On list at left click on plus box bycargo bed, then click on box gate. You'll have diagram of tailgate and a complete list of tailgate parts with part numbers and factory prices.

Thanks for the offer, Tommy. If I can't find a good used one I might take you up on your offer. It's really not that bad, it just bothers me because it's not straight like it was before it was damaged and a little paint would probably make it look a lot better.

Thanks for the link. If all else fails, I'll just call Neil, suck it up, and order a new one.

Fred,

What if you took a piece of angle iron, and make something in that looks like a tailgate protector. Will that cover it up. Post a picture, let us look at the " banged " area. Also, might could get a small " channel iron " and install to cover it up. Then, you will serve two purposes, First > the cover up ...... Second > protection from future damages.

.... just a idea

........... two guns

That sounds like a good idea Two Guns. I bet Tommy could sell some of those too I can just see a matching set of diamond pattern stick stoppers ,mud flap borders, and tail gate/rail protectors etc.... Bordercollie..
