    Brush Crusher

You know, if I had it to do it again, I'd go with a hydraulic remote and a bucket grapple. But that's just my opinion, based on my experiences with the BC-4000. It lacks some things that should have been designed in: greaseable pins instead of having zerks just on the implement; the bolt to...

    New problem...need advice...L2800

Maybe someone has an idea of what's going on with my tractor. It is an L2800 HST with 550 hours on it. Lately, my power steering was intermittent, and now totally inop. Also, my lift arms are slow to raise. I checked the hyd oil, and it was about 2 quarts low (not sure where it went, either)...

    Brush Crusher

Jim, I am about five miles from the lake. I fought that fire...it was about 28,500 acres in all. Started from a controlled burn (that wasn't very controlled, heh?) on a ranch in Archer County. Burned all the way from US281 to US287. We just fought house and gras fires at the lake. 14 homes...

    Can a 30hp tractor run a 7ft rototiller?

Doc, if you hear a chattering when you start using it, adjust the toplink. I thought I was having serious tranny issues at first. I second the multiple pass approach. My tiller is a five-footer. Good luck!

    Brush Crusher

I did it! Bought the BC-4000! I went ahead and bought the Brush Crusher 4000. Paid a little more than I wanted, $1112 - delivered, but first impression is that it is well worth it. I have noted two drawbacks so far: The loader side bushings on the Kubota LA463 loader do not have zerk...

Loader arm modification for Brush Crusher fit?

Anyone know anything about removing the stop welded onto the LA463 loader arm so that the Westendorf Brush Crusher will fit? I can't see where it would hurt the loader to cut the stop off... Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the answers. Does anyone have any experience with the PTO-driven generators from Northern Tool?

    PTO generator for mahindra 3510

Hey, guys...I've got two questions for you. First, do the PTO generators require you to run at 540 RPM (PTO) to generate power? This seems really high, because my L2800 runs about 2400 RPM (engine) to be in that zone. If the load is low, could the genset be run at a lower RPM? Second, I...

    Locking Fuel Caps

Hey, Brandi... Down in your neck of the woods, they'd just cut a fuel line and let it drain out into a jug anyway. But I guess they wouldn't know just how much they might get out of the tank, huh? They used to say that theives wouldn't take anything they had to work at getting, but that...

    Help me identify this part

Yeah, Iknow it needs pictures...but someone either stole my camera (kids' friends?) or I lost it somewhere. Just haven't gotten a replacement yet. It was a simple fix...but when the part was backorder, I went out to the Geo Metro that my daughter wrecked some time back and pulled off a power...

    Help me identify this part

Thanks, Dean. I had the bush hog on. I had checked the crystal ball on the side of the case and it was at the proper level. And it wasn't overheated, oil wasn't hot, nor were the actuators. So I guess I was asking too much of the little guy or the rubber in the low pressure hose was just...
