    RTV 400Ci

I've been reading about them a bit, seems the only guy posting anything that has one is complaining it's loud. Not surprising for a single cylinder compared to the 500's twin...I also wouldn't be keen on giving up all my engine braking of the hydro tranny. Given the top speed is the same...

    It Fits!

A little snug for my liking but he made it....I'd have been a bit puckered up going over the wheel wells myself

    Peanut's Stick Stoppers

If you ever get a template for the RTV 500 units Peanut let me know, I'd still like to have a set when you start making them. :tiphat:

    Peanut's Stick Stoppers

The only thing is Peanut's are a nice rugged steel piece and the Kubota 500 ones are plastic....at least they are on mine. If I hit anything big my guard will break right off.

    RTV 500 Tires

I think you'd be hard pressed to clear a true 25" tire let alone a 27" tire....there is extremely little clearance. I wanted larger tires myself for clearance but when I pulled out the measuring tape the space just wasn't there. I haven't seen a lift dedicated for the 500 either, if I had...

    RTV500 Servo Adjustment

You want to adjust your servo screw out...you can continue to move out a turn or so at a time until you feel it "downshifting" correctly. If you go too far your machine will not move and you know you'll need to go back in. Another huge difference in power can be made by doing the RPM...

    Cabin or dash light

Will do...the weather is getting nice up here now so it shouldn't be too long and I'll get it done.:tiphat:

    Cabin or dash light

I used Bluewater LEDS same as I used in my bass boat, they work great and last for a very long time with no fading or discoloration like some cheap led lights. I only lit up my shift gates on mine because that's all I cared about lighting up....they could have been mounted anywhere and created...

    First post...

A member of another tractor site added a modified cutting edge to his factory plow as well...if I remember correctly he used a piece of PVC pipe with a slit in it. I've got a gravel driveway so I just consider any rearranging of gravel a dual purpose plowing/grading job.:yum: Nice looking...

    Wings for the Curtis plow

I like the idea of wings on a utv plow. As far as the blade being too short do you have a rubber flap on the top of the board similar to this one? It works awesome for keeping the snow from coming over the blade. I'm loving this American Eagle V-plow....I've given it some persuasion to...

Will My RTV See Snow Again ?

You guys can have my share of snow. So far I've only needed to plow once and I'm kinda hoping to keep it that way. We've still got bare ground in Maine which is pretty awesome for January, I'm hoping it stays that way right through the winter.

    RTV 1100 Skid Plates

Not sure about the 1100's but on the 500 I don't care for the hydro fillter being as exposed as it is....more protection certainly can't hurt. If one had a large break to work with aluminum would work excellent, you would just need to use some rolls and put a few linear radius bends on the...

    changing power steering fluid

I got ansy with the 200 hr changes also. I changed all my fluids for the first time at 30 hrs....I feel oil and hydro is cheap insurance compared to the engine or transmission. I feel comfortable after that initial break in change to go 200 hrs with no issues but when something is new and...

    Kubota 900 Card

They give you 900 owners fancy cards  All I got with my 500 was a fancy powdercoat job on the inside of the bed that all lifted and fell off....still waiting for my response from Kubota....it's only been a few months they must still be busy.:bonk:

    Cheap Light Mounts

If you want to run several items using "key on" only power you should consider using a relay to get a nice heavy gauge wire direct to the battery and use the key on power source to activate the relay. That will prevent you from having a heavy draw on the factory light gauge wiring.:tiphat:

    Awesome looking unit. Congrats.

    kubota rtv900 snow plow choices

It's pinned. To put the plow in a V you pull a quick hitch pin and angle it back to where it needs to go on each side. To angle the plow you pull back a spring loaded pin and swivel the plow. There are red arrows pointing to the pins you would need to pull (this is just a picture of a Eagle V...

    kubota rtv900 snow plow choices

I don't care for the 2" receiver mount, you're putting a lot of stress in a very small area. I would stick with choices that use a mount to the frame of sorts to spread the load out a bit. I'd be concerned with cracking using a large plow with a 2" receiver mount.

    kubota rtv900 snow plow choices

Will you be angling your plow all the time? If not American Eagle makes a much cheaper manual angle V plow that might work for you....it's a well built unit I just upgraded from my American Eagle straight blade and can't believe how much heavier the V-Force plow is. Here's a few pics of mine...

Snow Chains on all 4 tires?

I will say chain prices seem to go up every dang year too. I wanted ice chains for my International 2544 the last 3 yrs, first year I checked they were $389 and sold out....checked again in the fall the next year, the price had gone up to $499 and they were sold out....last year I checked again...
