After a few times of trying to fix the drive shaft rattle my dealer is ordering a new drive shaft to fix my constant rattle,of course the front drive shaft is on back order[:'(]But hey if this fixes the problem I will be happy[8-|]I sure miss not havingmy RTV[:'(]Update!! my dealership received...

I put 2 magnecticamber led lights that run off of 4aa batteries,they can be in the flash mode or stay on all time.I bought them from a place called www.gemplers.com check the tractor light section.I use them for snow plowing at night or when I am on the main road.coobie

I only have 2 complaints,kubota needs to relocate the park brake lever and horn button,other than that is is one great machine.coobie[:D]

Check the spark arrester screen on your tail pipe,mine was clogged pretty good with 30 hours on it.It statesin your owners manuel how to clean it.coobie

I have had the curtis full cab enclosure for about 1 year now on my 2006 RTV.PROS: keeps the wind,rain,snow off me,pretty tight fit,I like the sliding windows,doors are pretty easy to take on and off for summer use,I also have the cab heater which IMHO isa little weak,I have the winsheild wiper...

Ted,I think if all you pushed was some lose dirt you would be OK but if I was useing the plow on a logging road I would be nervous about hitting old stumps and such.coobie.

bczoom,my curtis snowplow is frame mounted with electric lift and I opted for the manual angle.I was looking at a Blizzard plow that was all hydro.but the cost was a crazy $2700 bucks installed,I opted for the curtis plow for around $1400 installed.Last year was the first year of snow plowing...

I have the curtis snowplow for my kubota.I would NOTtry to do any moving of heavy dirt with it.The plow itself is made pretty solid but IMHO I would limit to snow removal only.coobie

I had a Lexan winshield on my 2002 Kaw.Mule IMHO it got scratched easy.I personally like the Glass of my RTV windshield verses the lexan.coobie

This post makes me feel good that I have a long future with my RTV since I have only 92 hours on my 2006[:D]coobie

I was planning on adding a front storage rack to the RTV.My question is if I add the front rack will the factory windshield still be able to open up with the rack installed?Has anyone have one installed?Thanks ,coobie</P>

Doug,I did the pedals,box,and floor last year with the herculiner,still holding up great.I also did the same with my 2002 Kaw.3010 mule 4 years agoand its still holding up great.I put 2 coats on the both.coobie

I store myrtv 900 in my unheated pole barn. Last winter was my first one of ownership,it gets pretty cold here in michigan,but no hard starting issues,and I plow snow with it also.Ialso use stanadyne pf and primrose 405 diesel addtives in case of gelling issues.coobie

I am talking about the screws(phillips head on side small wrech other side)underneath the black flange that opens the windshield.I wish I had a camera[:'(] to show you pics.coobie

Sorry Doug I do not.Not very camera savy at posting pics.The biggest thing that I have found is take your time with prep and clean good with some mineral spirts after sanding the box.I bought 2 small rollers and 2 small quality paint brushes to apply the herculiner with.coobie
