Has anyone had to replace the lower ball joints on their 900rtv. I replaced both on mine with 1200 hours on the machine. I was wondering when tightening them up how much movement should be in the ball joint.

Hi Everyone, I have a question about the glow plugs. This week the light on the dash stopped coming on when I start my 2007 rtv. What would be the best way to trouble shoot the glow plugs to make sure they are working for cold weather. Thank you in advance for all the help. Blinko

The machine is a 2008 with 1020 hours on it. Use is on road construction, so it is in water, mud and sand depending on the day. there seems to be some movement on that shaft. The noise basicly goes away when it is run in 4wd.

Hi, on my 900rtv it developed a loud rattle towards the front end when I am in 2wd and when my speed reaches 8mph, it does not matter what gear I am in. When I put it in 4wd the rattle is about the same as it has always been. I am wondering if anyone else as had the same isssue. It worked great...

Hi, Picked up my 900rtv last night after the u-joints were replaced. They didn't replace the shafts because the dealer said the u-joints came out easy so my bill cam to $500 for all 4 u-joints seals and rubber boots. $300 of it was labor (5 hours) Blinko

Thanks everyone I will keep you posted on the out come. Yes the new shafts come with grease fittings. I will be taking it to the Kubota dealer where I purchased it from, they have been very helpful in the past. Blinko.

On my 2007 900 rtv I had the gauge went out at about 400 hrs. I though it was something in the tank so I took it to where I bought it (McFarlines imp) the service tech went out and put a different gauge in and it worked. Simple enough fix I guess.</p>

thanks for helpful hint on removing the fuel stains. Now I need to find the right windshield. I wish I could find the "Kubota" windshields on line, my dealer wants $650 for the glass plus install. Although shipping would more than likely be extremely high. Gonna get the money one way or another...
