I have. They seem to think that this gap is not right also. I have looked over how the hood mounts and there does not seem to be any way to adjust it. I have heard that some DK owners state their DK does not have this issue, thus the original post.

Can fellow DK owners tell me if the gap between the hood and the cab on your DK has the gap as pictured? I had to troubleshoot a no crank issue on my 4210 with 20 hrs and found water was entering the fuse panel via this gap and freezing the relays during cold weather.

I have a 2017 RTVX1100C with 4000m (6300kms). Recently rotated the tires and found a small bit of play in the rear wheel bearings. Is this normal or with the mileage should I plan on replacing these soon. Also, are they complete hub assemblies or pressed in style bearings? Thanks Jim

Hi Folks, I have to tighten the passenger door handle on my X1100C. Upon looking at the door, I assume I will have to remove the orange panel on the exterior of the door to access it. Is it as simple as it looks to get off?

I recently repurposed the dump bed hydraulic circuit to operate the angle feature on my snow plow. I control the angle from the dump bed lever but it is jumpy and a little too sensitive. Can someone tell me if the system has a built in flow restrictor to adjust the fluid flow rate for this...

You have to access both belts by lifting the dump bed and removing the rubber access cover on the wall behind the seats.

Normal for these machines. There is also people who stated they have thousands of hours on their machines and it did not effect the longevity of the AC pump.

Sounds like the fan belts need snugging up. My 2017 X1100 did this and it drove me crazy. Tightened them up and never heard it after.

Sounds normal to me. Mine does the same thing!

I use a battery tender if I plan on storing the 1100C for any length of time. I use a electric over hydraulic Meyer Homeplow and never had any issues with the battery. As for the rust proofing, salt will kill them. If you use it in a salt free area you do not need to be as concerned but rust...

What is the most hours/mileage you have seen on a RTV?

There is a lot you can do to lower the cab noise on this machine. I posted a article about what I did to my 1100C which eliminated any dust from inside the cab and lowered the noise by 50% or more. Made the ride much more pleasurable.
