I picked up a cheap rtv. Runs great but doesn't move. Did I say I picked it up cheap. The company I bought it off tried to fix it and replaced the hst case. When they resembled the trans it still didn't move. After throwing 3k blindly at it still does the same thing. Doesn't move

I put gauges on the charge pump. 35 to 44 psi at full throttle.

I'd think when the hst was changed guys would have noticed the pump plates but none the less I'll have to pull it apart

Of interest the tang on the servo valve is quite worn. Is this worth looking into first

Thanks guys!

Jack it up where both rear wheels are clear and turn the wheels by hand. Look and see if the joints and spindles move with the wheels. Cheapest place to start process of elimination. Spindles could possibly be worn...

Good suggestion. The 4x4 shaft doesn't turn either Machine also rolls freely so not a brake issue. Spindles are good

Thanks guys. I've spent days reading everything I can find on the net. I'm surprised no one has done a how to with pics of removing the pump

Grab your Work Shop Manual, a video recorder and have at it.

Looking forward to the updates.

Easy for me to say eh!!!

Again, good luck.

Torn down the pumps. LoL. Swash plates in upside down

Runs and drives now. I need to adjust the neutral now

Thanks guys!

sounds like you got a bargain. Good work!!!! and welcome to NTT. :thumb: :tiphat:

My neutral adjustment is slightly out on mine .I can adjust oit to the proper adjustment but i seem to loose so much power so im keeping it the way it is.It will roll when in gear slightly with no throttle but i just dont leave it in drive. There is a big difference in power to the drive wheels between settings.

Adams Repair has some great pics.

I'm betting on the pump itself.

Good Luck.

Nice pictures. This is the stuff I like. To see what you guys do and how you're doing it. Don't expect any pictures from me yet, not only I'm I new here, I'm new to this computer stuff too. Christmas is coming, the kids and grandkids well be here to get me lined out and then maybe I'll be able to throw a few out there also.
