Our new buggy

I've been in Jungle Jim's Fairfield many times and I'll agree about it being a destination to see. If they don't have it food and drink wise, I'd be shocked. Cincinnati is a nice big city if you know someone that can get you around. I look forward to going there in a month.

My sister lives in Westchester and her Husband is an Ohio State grad. In spite of that he's a decent sort.

We have interesting discussions about Michigan vs Ohio State football.

I know the area well. I lived in Grove City for my first 3 years in Cols. :thumb: Jeffersonville outlet is just down the road from you.
I've never been to Jungle Jim's. Is that a restaurant or what?

You got me!
Only the coolest grocery store I have ever been in! International groceries beer tons of stuff I have never heard of, Last time we left with $200 in groceries and couldn't make a meal with any of it completely random items like "the reaper puree" 1.569 million scoville units, a dash of that in your summer salsa can turn up the heat! their hot sauce isle looks like a liquor store... not pretentious just everyday people. If your tired of Kroger check it out.

Do either of you or anyone else know where to get a good pizza in Cincinnati? You know like a NY style pizza? nothing cut like a brownie plate... Speaking of which I am new to the midwest do other states favor cutting their pizza into squares? What is that?

I do not know Cinci. well enough to recomend a pizza place. Will ck with a member of my other forum JPR ...he might have a recommendation or two.

Heck no. I'm not in Kentucky. I'm in Ohio. East of you. I put an X on the map close to where I am. Athens and Pomeroy and Marietta are the biggest Ohio towns close by. Parkersburg is in WV and just across the river from us.

Can't believe this map shows I-77 at being bigger than the Ohio River. Geez. One could fit a 24 lane interstate in the river and still have room left over. But on the map it looks teeny. lol

I asked JP your question about NY style pizza in Cinci, here is his reply:
JP said:
Dunno about New York style, but Dewey's Pizza is ridiculously good. LaRosa's is next. For Chicago style, Mio's is the place to go.

Back in early '95 I delivered a load of frozen broccoli from Laredo, Texas to I believe it was Green Giant in Jackson, Ohio. Cannot really recommend taking an 80.000 lb. reefer up 93 from the river up to there. They emptied me out and I pulled around front and loaded a load of canned veggies back to Laredo. I went across southern Ohio to Cincinati to cross back into Kentucky.

Thanks for checking that out for us doc!
We almost made it to deweys in Dayton last weekend but ended up in Yellow Springs, Last night we went out to The Pine Club to celebrate a promotion... If your looking for amazing steak in a restaurant that has not changed in 70 years look no farther! I like your neck of the woods, rolling hills trees very pretty nothing like the flat land here.
Shinnery that is so much broccoli! Whoa!
