if anyone is interested in some i am starting a few sets during the next week .it does take a few days to complete them so it's not a speedy process but they will get done.i was just givin the property by my mom and dad so now i can see about a shop to build on it.i would still like to cater to the rtv owners and no others unless asked to do so.depending on how cheap i can get the metal and gas filled i might be able to drop some off the price(maybe) the acytelene is way up there in price right now and i'm switcing over to propane. i went the other day to fill it and they wanted over 180 for a full size bottle thats crazy . propane will be alot cheaper to use.

Peanut: Glad to hear you are still in business and looking to specialize in the RTV. While still a wannabe, I definitely have you in mind for when I am able to purchase a 1100.

Keifer, a RTV wannabe

seems like me and you are the only non trv owners in here huh?i need to get me one for two reasons
1..i need another working utv i miss my old hpx
2 ..it would come in handy for paterns.

i'll let you guys know when they are done i'm laying out the paterns and cutting them all out today then comes the task of bending each one.lol

Congrats, Peanut

Congrats on getting the property.... yep, nothing like having a shop....except perhaps a BIGGER shop:dancing:

don't know if the a-arms are the same but if you can get me an acurate pattern of the a-arms i can make a set. yes getting the property is great and i plan on putting a nice bigger shop up as soon as funds are available but for now i work under a old oak tree .nuthin like workin in the outdoors huh?

Congratulations Peanut! I had considered getting one of those shipping containers and fixing it up for a shop until we built the barn. They were secure and could be altered with a torch-steel doors etc. Back then they were about $1200, now about $2000 delivered. That is still a lot of money but so are materials to build one. My thought was to later get another and build a roof over the 2 with a drive under in between. If I ever move, that is what I will do. However, my Daddy started his offshore hydraulic steering business under the side of a falling down barn there in Pineville.La and that really got him going. One thing about that way.. no payments! Bordercollie

that would be my dream shop .to have to 44' shipping containers side by side with a 4'container closing off the back and leaving me a nice 20+foot workshop in the middle with storage on all 3 sides..fram it up to look like a barn and throw a rof on top people would never know it was built from containers.the last i heard my brother-n-law bought a 40' container for 5k.that was about 3 years ago.

Yea Peanut you're reading my mind. They have them here for around 2 grand- I saw some at Greenville on my way to Ark and have heard they are sold around Hattisburg for about $2ooo. Good Luck with your place. bordercollie.

they make great storm shelters if you weld them down to the plates in the cement then weld each one together too .i need a good huricane go to place . around here if you leave your stuck in traffic and then when you try to come back home they won't let you so i make it a point not to leave the parish that way as soon as the storm starts to pass i'm on my way home before the cops hit the streets .i bet there will be alot of containers comin in from japan there was hundreds floating around and they will probably sell them off real cheap.i don't know if they will be radioactive or not but i'm sure they will scan them before entering the country.

oh bordercollie i know you have lots of land would you be interested in rescueing a pet? she is a two year old wymeriner very beautiful animal she just needs a good home with land because she likes to run.i will even deliver her to you if you want .i can send you a picture or two if you want. she's been on heartworm meds sisnse day one and is healthy as a goat.VERY PRETTY ANIMAL AND SHE LOVES PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS TOO..

oh i forgot she loves riding in the back or front seat of a utv . we take her ride with my other 7 pets when we go walk in the cane field.

Do you have a pattern for the RTV 1100?

If yes, how much?

Thank you,
Regards.
