x1100c no speed

Working on an x1100c for a neighbour. Runs fine but can only get about 12mph out of it. Charge pressure within spec....any ideas?
 
Does it have Kubota UDT Hyro fluid? Assuming hydro fluid level is where it should be.
Maybe emergency brake stuck on.
To check jack up put in neutral and see if wheels spin freely.
 
dtreid,i bought a rtv900 with the same problem and the little plunger when you put on the brake was stuck to relise pressure,thats the first thing ide check to makeshur there is a gap between lever and button on valve,pulled button down with plyers and jumped to 25mph, iam shur Doc can explain this valve far better than i can..hop this helps, Scotty

look at post 16. and yes definitely check the pressure relief poppet.----with the engine off lubricate the poppet with some of the oil from the transmission and work it in and out a few times then wipe clean.
