Well, I secured a turbocharger or two yesterday. And I know some
guys that use these RTV's to move open class pulling trucks around, and
these guys run injection shops. One of which I talked to a couple
years ago about modding the pump. I assume he'll still do it for me.
With that being the case, if I can just get this trans to take some power..... I'll put some on it, lol.

Anybody know the CR on this little engine? It is DI isn't it?

If it won't hold I'll chuck the pistons up in the lathe and drop the
compression a bit. Surely the rods can hold a 100% increase in power.
I figure with a modded pump and a turbo I should be able to make 30 to
40hp no sweat. That ought to give this thing a swift kick in the
pants. If I can't keep the head on I'll have a set of studs made for
it.

You could say I've snapped.... but for some reason today I'm feeling
the need to make this thing the way it SHOULD be. Regardless.

If you guys can help me get the hydrostatic unit prepped well, I'll
throw some power at it. It's not like I'm going to void the warranty
or anything.

lmao.

Seeing as though you are wanting to put my help on the back burner,
I will do the same. You are trying to pull a calf from the wrong end
and reaching your arm down the cows throat.

I gave you the option for all the information on that machine
through download, but you seem to not want it. I won't be around for
awhile, its haying season and when that is done going away for a bit.
So if I am on, it will be sporatic.

Good luck with your engine build, and like I have said before, if
you DON'T have charge pressure, correct main relief pressure, that HST
won't work proprely. So you can build yourself a 40hp engine, it
doesn't matter, that HST won't transfer any power because you need to
do step one first.

Well, you have yet to post anything for me to go test...

My email address is not the same as it was when I first registered on this site. I tried for a bit to figure out how to change the email address that comes up if you try to contact me via this site, but I didn't find it. However, once you suggested that I simply contact you via your listed email address I stopped trying to figure out how to change mine, and simply shot you an email with my new address.

I have checked my email account three times since then and have not recieved your bountiful onslaught of info as of yet. I guess I don't know what you expect me to do in lack of any direction as to what I should be doing.

I did what I believed was asked of me. I thought you were simply busy like me, and hadn't had the time to reply yet.

Lastly..... you think I won't yank that hydrocrap out and sink it to the bottom of the pond if it turns out that it can't get the job done? The only reason I'm even screwing with it is because it's what's already in the vehicle. Saves me the time/money of reworking something if I can get by on what it's already got. The trans in my truck puts over 600hp to the ground...... trust in the fact that there ARE better options for power transmission than hydraulic oil. I still don't understand why ATV/UTV designers seem to think they aren't capable of using planetaries and clutch packs like the automotive world has for decades. I could flip the engine around and set it where the hydrocrap is now, then hit something like a glide, or a TH350 or similar, then fab a drop box that runs shaft power under the entire engine to a rear mounted differential, something like what you would find in a suburu WRX. There are many ways to fix that vehicle that don't involve moving copious amounts of hydraulic fluid.

On Edit:

Don't worry about it. Since I still don't understand why you wouldn't have simply posted the pertinent information on the forum to begin with, just forget I ever asked. You chose to skip the OBVIOUS line of communication that we had going and do the email bs dance in the first place. Just keep your info.
