What did you do today with your RTV?

LOL Zoom.
JUst got done cutting a full load of wood.Got run in by sleet and freezing rain.
Next load i have to do a video of the new dump system in action.
I may have over loaded the machine a tad but it dumped.Probably a full cord of wet maple figure 12 to 1400 pounds. The back was in full squat mode lol.

BC:
There are a number of models of the Taurus Judge on the market. Some shoot 2 1/2 inch shotshells and others 3" shotshells - all of them also chamber the .45 (long) colt. Each Judge has a 5 shot capacity and like bczoom said, you can mix or match the shotshells and .45's anyway you want. IMHO the Judge is one of the better all around defense weapons in a revolver format. Besides that, even though it's not a long-distance firearm, it's fun to shoot.

Thank ya'll very much for the info. I promise not to shoot to I see the slits of the eyes- so don't come around with them. :) I think we must all be about the same age on here but can't see as good as once so be careful 'round here.
Keifer , my old Caterpillar 252B went to Pennsylvania :) bordercollie

will live.broke broke ribs, right arm and wrist internal stuff not good. seat bar on d side and parking brake lever came close to fatal. recc everyone heavilly pad these asap. unsure what occured. like front wheel just drove off road and kinda side fell on me. was going slow too.

Oh man that sounds awful. I'm hoping you have a speedy and full recovery. Hang in there! And I'll take heed of your advice and start rubber padding the interior of the RTV. My wife often said I belonged in a padded room, now I see she was just concerned about my safety.
All the best to you,
Al

Oh my goodness!! I am glad you are still among us. I am praying for a speedy recovery!! God Bless you Vintovka!!

Guess I should wear my belt more often. I will admit I rarely use it unless on the steep areas. Same for the tractors. Hope you heal up all right. Machines can be fixed but us older folks don't fix as easy.

Sorry to hear it and glad it wasnt a lot worse.Thats one reason I always wear the seat belt if im not just playing in the field on it.I had a friend last year roll his rhino and wasnt going saft either but no belt on he tried to stick his leg out to prevent the roll but that didnt work.Snapped it right in half.He is now like me has a steel bar running from his ankle to his knee to keep his leg together.I pray you have a speedy and pain free recovery. Just remember 1 thing the RTV can be replaced you cant!

thanks for kind words. doing much better but will be one finger typing for a while. Really concerned about the rtvs stabilty/safety and the damage the seat bar and parking brake can do. never liked brake location and should have done something like padding long ago. Unable to inspect it yet for mechanical failure but leaning that direction due to how fast this happened

Please let us know what your investigation shows.
What year, model, hours etc?
And 1 finger typing is the best I could ever do anyways. Only have 3 on each hand plus a couple thumbs.

Hauled several loads of leaves and limbs from yard and flower beds. Not heavy, but the dump bed sure made it easy to unload.

Hate to hear of your accident Vintovka. That sounds horrible. I have very tight trails with lots of hills and drop offs. You definitely got my attention. Once you do get your ATV checked for mechanical failure please be sure to pass on as much detail as possible. Seat belts on my RTV do not work right, one won't snap and the other will sometimes but is a bear to unhook. So I've ignored the seat belts, but after hearing of your mishap that is probably not a very bright thing for me to do. :bonk:

I still cannot fathom how the seat and emergency brake can do you damage. I don't care for the position of the emergency brake either, but when it's off it seems to be out of the way. When you put it on you have to then climb over it to get out of the cab. Very poor design.

cut and hauled 4 cords of wood today.I seem to have gotten fat and lazy ver the winter it liked to killed me this time.Tomorrow if all goes well ill shoot a video on how the new hydro dump works on a well overloaded machine and post it.I cant compair how well it works to the factory dump but does seem to work very well.

4 cord is a respectable amount for a day. Amongst the other chores I did yesterday, I did some firewood myself. I saw a couple smaller trees that I was going to harvest but then found an 18", 70 foot long oak laying on the ground. I started on that one but only hauled 2 loads out on the RTV before I moved onto other things.
