Time to replace the front axle RTV900

Well....my '04 RTV900 is in need of a new front axle after I noticed the boot has busted in half. I can't complain as she is 14 years old and not had any major issues. My question is that which axle to buy? They are so cheap that it doesn't make sense to repair the boot alone. I see them on...

    900x soft doors

I too have a RTV 900 and have the Curtis Cab enclosure with soft doors. I agree with Cajun regarding the cons with the doors. They aren't air tight but definitely keeps the wind and cold out. I too wish they were a better fit. I also don't like the "suicide door" swing. Opening and closing the...

    200 hour service

When I switched to Mobil 1 I saw an ad from Auto Zone which advertised a 4 quart container for $12.99. I knew the normal price was something like $26-27. I called and verified the price and the rep stated that the ad was a misprint but they were honoring the price. I bought $500 in oil and...

Time to change the tires on the RTV900

That would have been a good idea, but unfortunately they were as bald as the top of my head! :)

Time to change the tires on the RTV900

That is the only thing I fear with the BE's, the more aggressive tread. I have zoysia sod and huge trees. Limbs fall more in the fall and winter and we use the Kubota for clean up. Winter time the ground is a lot softer as well. Not sure how this is going to work out.

    Faded camo doors

Well....I got impatient and decided to spray them with a light coat of black paint. Camo bled through just a little, but they sure as heck look better than the purple color that they were.

    Faded camo doors

Here is a pic I found what the solid black doors look like: http://mccoysequipment.com/used-equipment/57-kubota-rtv-900-r-camo-with-hard-cab I really don't know if I like this or not.

    Faded camo doors

I tried the Camp Dry...it didn't do anything to the purple color.

    Faded camo doors

I contacted Curtis Cab this morning and their rep stated that because of this fading issue with their camo pattern fabric that they no longer offer these skins in camo any longer. They only offer black fabric skins and I could only buy those from my dealer. Now I'm just thinking of spray...

    Faded camo doors

Jim, I thought about that, but I wanted to go the cheap route first. If I screw it up I guess I could call them for pricing. I'm afraid to see what their cost is though.

    Faded camo doors

Starting to fix the RTV up some. Really excited after getting new tires, so I decided to get the doors out of storeage and stretch the fabric back out on the camo doors before putting them on for the colder months coming up. The velcro had come unglued all the way around, so I fixed that. over...
